Logiwa’s WMS Integration for Amazon FBA Empowers 3PLs and Brands

If you use Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) to outsource your shipping logistics, there’s a good chance you are using the Amazon interface separately from your warehouse management system (WMS) and other supply chain solutions.

Without a fully integrated system, your team is left having to leave warehouse management workflows to process orders through the FBA user-interface itself. This adds time and distractions for your workers with cumbersome navigation, leading to inefficiencies, frustrations and room for errors.

With Logiwa’s newest feature enhancement, Logiwa provides all the necessary functions to completely manage Amazon orders, leverage FBA, and get the necessary items sent to the right Amazon warehouses, all within the one, easy-to-use interface.

Key Takeaways

  • Logiwa WMS is integrated with Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA), allowing you to create an Amazon shipment plan directly in our platform, download orders from your Amazon store, sync stock with your FBA inventory, and ship items to the designated Amazon fulfillment centers from one interface.
  • Logiwa WMS can help you meet Amazon’s specific packing, shipping, and routing requirements to ensure success for Master and Child FBA order types.
  • Logiwa’s FBA integration provides a variety of features to help increase cost-efficiency, increase labor productivity, ship more orders, and grow your business.

How Logiwa Works with Amazon FBA

Logiwa’s pre-built integrations include hundreds of solutions and providers for seamless order fulfillment, inventory management, shipping logistics, accounting, and more – including FBA. And with our platform, you can manage FBA from one user interface.

Our cloud fulfillment solution is able to create Amazon shipment plans, download orders directly from your Amazon store, help you sync stock with your FBA inventory, and connect you directly with shipping carriers to get your items to the designated Amazon fulfillment centers. These capabilities will help you streamline your FBA process like never before.

If you have already established an Amazon selling account, set up FBA through Seller Central, and added your products to the Amazon catalog (and FBA inventory), all that’s left is getting your items to the fulfillment centers designated by Amazon to complete the FBA process. Logiwa WMS can help you meet Amazon’s specific packing, shipping, and routing requirements to ensure success.

Amazon FBA Order Support Provided by Logiwa

As you know, FBA orders are managed using two different order levels: Master and Child. Logiwa helps support both. Here’s how:

Master Orders: Master orders contain the item and quantity information you want to send to Amazon warehouses. These orders are not fulfilled using Logiwa’s cloud fulfillment platform. Instead, Amazon uses this type of order information to create a Shipment Plan for the item. Within Logiwa WMS, Master Orders can be imported via Excel, pushed in through API, or manually created within our system. That way, you can track changes to your inventory and how orders are being processed within one unified system.

Child Orders: Child orders are fulfilled within Logiwa WMS before being sent to Amazon warehouses. These orders are shipped with information on the items and their quantities, as well as the final destinations they need to be delivered to. Our system helps prepare the information that will be used by Amazon to create these transfers and shipments for last-mile delivery.

Now that you understand how our system helps you handle your FBA orders, let’s discuss the variety of features you can expect when using Logiwa’s FBA Integration.

Key Features of Logiwa’s Amazon FBA Integration

When it comes to transferring inventory, packing products, and managing carriers to get items to Amazon-designated fulfillment centers – switching back and forth between multiple applications leads to increased cost and inconvenience. That’s why Logiwa has created an intuitive interface to help operations expedite seamless FBA processes.

Logiwa’s FBA integration allows users to:

  • Create FBA shipment plans
  • Create FBA shipments
  • Set transport method (Partnered/Non-Partnered) based on Order Type:
    • Non-Partnered shipper, LTL or Parcel
    • Amazon-Partnered shipper, LTL, or Parcel
  • Generate box labels
  • Generate shipping labels:
    • Get Non-Partnered Parcel labels and sync info back to Amazon
    • Get Amazon-Partnered labels (LTL or Parcel)
  • Upload Non-Partnered LTL BOL via API
  • Send number of items in cartons or pallets to Amazon (for Partnered)
  • Mark shipments as shipping in Amazon

Top Benefits of Using Logiwa’s Amazon FBA Integration

If your company uses FBA, Logiwa’s seamless integration supports the entire fulfillment lifecycle in one solution, resulting in boosted labor efficiencies, cost savings, as well as labor and fulfillment results.

Cost-Savings

With Logiwa’s robust FBA integration, you save valuable time and money. How? You can process more orders within the Logiwa UI, which means more orders are processed and shipped each day.

In addition, you save money by not incurring counting costs from Amazon because that task is automated within the Logiwa system. Our solution automatically calculates the number of items in cartons and pallets with each shipment. It also allows you to use Amazon shipping or non-Amazon shipping carriers. Using our rate shopping feature, you can choose carriers with more cost-effective rates to carry out your shipping tasks, which equates to massive cost savings month over month.

Increased Productivity

Logiwa’s FBA integration promotes simplified workflows, allowing you to maximize labor productivity and process more orders. Being able to handle the entire FBA process all within the Logiwa UI – from downloading orders, preparing shipments, printing shipping labels, and sending details to Amazon – creates a more efficient, smooth, and accurate fulfillment approach.

These process optimizations drive impactful results by getting more orders shipped, minimizing labor hours, and increasing your profit margins. Moreover, potential user errors are limited by using one application instead of two.

Expanded Business Reach

Whether you are a third-party logistics (3PL) provider, a brand, or online seller, using FBA helps you gain maximum exposure by participating in the world’s largest ecommerce marketplace. As a 3PL, you can promote your ability to support clients already using FBA and offer logistical support, labor optimization and cost savings tied to the use of FBA services.

As a brand using FBA, you can expand your reach to customers who buy with Prime, as your products will be eligible for Amazon Prime Free Two-Day Shipping. Many end customers only shop with brands that fulfill via that shipping method, so this increases both your visibility and your competitive edge.
